The LI-800 integrated flangeless trap functions as an oil baffle and is installed in the vacuum pump in place of the standard oil baffle. It features additional cooled baffle elements designed to capture backstreaming oil vapors. Compared with the MU oil baffle, the LI-800 has a greater number of cooled elements covering the entire area of the high-vacuum inlet flange.
