• The annual XXX Symposium “Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics” continues the regular discussions of current challenges in the fields of semiconductor nanostructure physics, X-ray optics, and scanning probe microscopy, which began in 1997–1998. The scientific topics of the symposium cover a wide range of issues in condensed matter physics. Their relevance is determined by the significant number of research projects conducted in this field in Russia and abroad, and they correspond to one of the priority areas for the development of science, technology, and engineering in Russia.
